Telenor Call Packages

Telenor call packages range from a Rs. 5 one-hour bundle to a Rs. 1,100 monthly all-network plan. Here is how to find the right one.

Telenor is Pakistan's second-largest mobile network, and it has historically been the first choice for users in rural areas because of its strong tower coverage outside major cities. Telenor call packages tend to be cheaper than Jazz packages of similar size, partly because Telenor has more spare network capacity in less-busy regions.

Who finds Telenor call packages useful

Telenor packages work best for these kinds of users:

If most of the people you call are on other networks, a Telenor package is less useful because off-net minutes are capped on most plans.

Points to check before you subscribe

The single biggest consideration with Telenor packages is the Telenor-to-Telenor ratio. The cheapest packages give you hundreds of on-net minutes but almost no off-net allowance. If you call mostly Telenor numbers, this is perfect. If half your calls are to Jazz or Ufone numbers, you will run out of off-net minutes in a day even with a monthly package.

The second thing is the validity start time. Some Telenor daily packages are valid for exactly 24 hours from activation, while others reset at midnight. The difference matters — if you subscribe at 11 pm to a 'midnight reset' package, you get one hour of use before the new day begins.

The third thing is the auto-renew behaviour. Telenor packages auto-renew aggressively, sometimes within seconds of expiry. If you do not want this, you must explicitly unsubscribe — and the unsubscribe command differs per package.

Finally, your phone needs at least a few hundred MB of free data for the Telenor app to install, if you want to use that instead of USSD. The app makes subscription and unsubscription noticeably easier than dialling codes, especially if you have several active packages.

The packages below are the ones Telenor markets most heavily in 2026. There are also region-specific offers — particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan — that are not in this list because they are not available nationally.

Telenor frequently runs 'happy hour' promotions that drop a daily package price by 30% to 50% between 2 pm and 6 pm. Dial *345# in the afternoon and look at the offers menu — you may find a much better price than the standard one listed above.

Steps to activate a Telenor call bundle

  1. Top up if needed

Dial *444# to see your current balance. Make sure it covers the package price. Telenor will not partially activate a bundle if you are short by even one rupee.

  2. Dial the package code

Type the code exactly as shown in the table — Telenor's codes start with *345* for most call packages. Press call. The system responds within a few seconds.

  3. Confirm via the response menu

Some Telenor codes show a menu asking you to press 1 to confirm subscription. Read carefully — the same menu sometimes offers an upgrade. Pick the option that matches what you originally wanted.

  4. Save the unsubscribe instructions

Telenor sends an SMS with the unsubscribe code or SMS keyword. Keep this for later — without it you may struggle to stop auto-renewal when you no longer need the package.

One more note about Telenor

Telenor announced in 2023 that it would exit the Pakistani market, and the sale process to Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL, which already owns Ufone) has been ongoing for over two years. As of mid-2026, the deal has not fully completed, and Telenor continues to operate normally with the same packages, app, and customer service. If the merger does close eventually, Telenor packages will likely shift towards Ufone equivalents — but that has not happened yet.

The prices in the table above are valid as of early 2026. Telenor reviews package pricing roughly every three months, and the *345# menu always shows the live, current price. Use that as the authoritative source before subscribing to anything over Rs. 200.

One last practical tip: Telenor's customer service line — 345 from a Telenor number, or 03459009345 from any phone — is genuinely useful for package disputes. If a package was charged but did not activate, or you were auto-renewed without warning, call them within 24 hours of the issue and ask for a reversal. The first-level agents have authority to refund any amount up to Rs. 500 if the case is reasonable. Beyond that, ask to escalate. This is one of the few areas where Pakistani telecom customer service actually delivers.
